- Has anyone actually got one of these suckers to work happily with a SCSI hdd
- on the same interface?
-
- Mine will startup and can be used but at the cost of screwing my hdd`s
- transfer rate to sub-floppy levels! The dealers idea of how to fix it? Turn
- off the instruction cache! Which does work, but you can see why my CD is lying
- a little idle on the shelf.
-
- Allegdly there will be a patch for this, but they don`t seem to have a clue
- when.
-
- If anyone out there (any phase5 employees?) has any idea, could they please
- put me out of my misery.
-
- Also if any 1230-IV owners have got a CD/hdd combo working with the blizzard
- SCSI, I`d like to know, as I have a feeling I have good grounds to get my III
- swapped for a IV if it does, since if I read the definitions in the Trades
- Descriptions act right, a SCSI interface that does not support SCSI devices
- properly is not fit for the purpose.
